Xolo has officially launched the Q700, the company’s second quad-core Android smartphone in the Q Core series. Back in March, Xolo had launched its first phone with a quad-core processor, the Q800.
It comes with Xolo Switch app that would let users create multiple profiles and switch between profiles easily, Xolo Secure app that would let them lock the phone, back up the SMS and call log and track it remotely if it’s lost and the Xolo Power app that optimizes the phone’s battery usage.
Xolo Q700 Specifications:
The Xolo Q700 comes in Blue and Brown colors at is priced at Rs. 9999.
Its clear that most companies are trying to allure customers by providing phones with quad-core processors at low prices. Thus, the XOLO Q700 will compete with Micromax Canvas HD(A116) that was launched recently. It would also compete with the Karbonn that previously launched the Karbonn Smart Titanium 1 with Snapdragon's quad-core CPU and also S2 Titanium.
Although it may seem a good thing that there are a lot of phones with such porwerful processors at low prices, the sad part is that these companies often ignore the basic features of a smartphone, i.e., durability, battery backup and after-sales service.
The XOLO Q700 might be a better option compared to others considering that Micromax A116 is not easily available and the Karbonn Titanium has a very large screen.
